Tommye Rena Wells Named CRMC New Chief Financial Officer

Tommye Rena Wells has been named Chief Financial Officer at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Tommye Rena Wells most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance at the medical center for the past eight years before being promoted in August 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer.  Mrs. Wells previously held positions as the Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager/Director of Accounting and Internal Auditor at the medical center. Mrs. Wells has over 25 years of healthcare experience.

As the CFO, Mrs. Wells is responsible for all of the medical center’s financial functions including accounting, audit, patient financial services as well as registration and dietary services.  Mrs. Wells has been instrumental in ensuring the financial viability of the 247-bed regional medical center.

Mrs. Wells resides in Cookeville with her husband Michael of 30 years has two children,  Kayla Dixon who is married to Alex Dixon and and her son Alex who attends Lincoln Memorial University. She has three grandchildren, Gracyn, Aleigha and Tatum.  Mrs. Wells enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, playing the piano and going to the lake.
