A pulmonary/critical care physician is needed to join a robust 5-physician hospital employed practice. The outpatient clinic is attached to the hospital allowing for efficiency in patient care. With only one hospital to cover and call of 1 in 6, quality of life is superb! Cookeville Regional Medical Center is centrally located between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga with the Nashville International Airport within a one hour drive.
Immediate opening for a 5th Interventional Cardiologist
Tennessee Heart is a 12 physician cardiology practice providing exclusive contracted Cardiology services to Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC). Cookeville is located 1.5 hours from Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga Tennessee. We are the only tertiary Cardiology program for a 14 county area known as the Upper Cumberland region. We are the sole STEMI referral center and provide the overwhelming majority of Cardiology services in this area. CRMC’s 3 cardiac surgeons provide high quality coronary bypass and valve surgery program. Our Cardiac Surgeons have been supportive of our TAVR program which was forged by our fellowship trained structural interventionist.
Our interventional Cardiology program provides a full range of coronary and structural heart services including TAVR and PFO closure with mitral clip and appendage closure soon to follow. The coronary interventions provided include complex coronary intervention including CTO intervention. We currently do not provide venous procedures which is an area of opportunity for a new member.

A surgeon is needed to join a busy, well established group. The practice has been established for over 35 years. One of the senior surgeons plans to retire within 2 years. Call is 1 in 5. Employment for one year, shareholder opportunities to follow year one. Ambulatory surgery center located in office building is physician owned. Office is directly across from the hospital.
