Last Health Talks of 2022 is Tuesday

Prostate cancer, incontinence, kidney stones…the list of what urologists treat goes on.

Learn about symptoms of all these issues and available treatment options during the next Health Talks, set for Tuesday, Dec. 13, at noon on Zoom.

“Kidney stones are a big problem in this area,” said Dr. Robert Parham, the urologist who will be speaking during the last Health Talks of 2022.

Parham joined the Upper Cumberland Urology group just a few months ago.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then went on to complete a surgical internship and urologic residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.

He practiced for eight years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area before relocating to Cookeville.

With robotic surgery capabilities, he is able to do total and partial prostate removal, partial kidney removal, adrenal surgery, ureteral injury repairs and removal of kidney blockages.

He will also talk about incontinence issues that both males and females experience.
