HOSPITAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES WELCOMES JAY ALBRECHT

The Board of Trustees at Cookeville Regional Medical Center welcomed its newest member, Jay Albrecht of Cookeville. The Cookeville City Council appointed Jay Albrecht to fill the seat of board member Cheryl Sandlin, who served nine years on the board. Albrecht began serving his seven-year term on August 1, 2025.

Albrecht, a local entrepreneur and community leader, has lived in Cookeville since a very young age and is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University. He is the founder and manager of three restaurants: Seven Senses, the newly opened Savor Cookeville and soon-to-open Seven Squared.

In addition to his work in the restaurant industry, Albrecht has experience in media and publishing, having served as associate publisher of the Upper Cumberland Business Journal and as owner of Albrecht Publishing Group, LLC. He currently serves on the boards of the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Putnam County 911, and Cookeville Downtown Development Group.

Albrecht and his wife, Lindsey, who owns Albrecht Wellness, live in Cookeville.
