Dr. Borhani’s passion is to deliver evidence-based and timely therapeutic interventions to every patient in the fast-paced, high acuity emergency department. Her teaching style is a mixture of hands-on direct patient care combined with in-depth topic discussions. She strives to instill a sense of curiosity in her learners in order to help them manage the unknown and unexpected. Dr. Borhani serves as an instructor for critical care paramedic course.

Dr. Borhani’s clinical interests include resuscitation, sedation/analgesia, shock hemodynamics, and neurocritical care. When she’s not working, Dr. Borhani enjoys hiking, spending time with her family and friends especially when they are enjoying great food, and spending time with her four-legged friends.
