Dr. Hicks comes from Oak Ridge. Her interests include informatics and critical care.

She chose Cookeville Regional Medical Center because it is a multi-specialty facility in a non-academic community setting. She appreciates that CRMC allows pharmacists the ability to practice (with extended prescriptive authority) independently in concert with medical providers and not under medical staff. She also likes the “small city/large town” environment, the chance to build pharmacy programs and services, working with colleagues who have vision, drive, and excitement about the growth and direction of pharmacy.

Dr. Hicks enjoys growing pharmacy programs, services, and practitioners! She loves the excitement of change and enjoys the challenge of problem solving. She says positivity and smiles do a lot to foster good working environments and she tries to better ours daily!

In her spare time, Dr. Hicks enjoys family time, quilting, painting, reading, golf, and Tennessee Titans football.
