Beat the Heat with the Summer Splash 5K

Get ready to beat the summer heat at the Summer Splash 5K. This race will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 6 p.m., near the Dogwood Park pavilion. Proceeds from the 5K will help local cancer patients with a variety of charitable needs. The Summer Splash is a family-friendly 5K offering opportunities to cool off along the course at gentle misting stations and optional drenching stations. Run or walk, participants will likely get wet during this race.

Presented once again by Roland Digital Media, the Summer Splash 5K will also include entertainment before and during the race at the Dogwood Park pavilion. The race will begin at 6 p.m. with on-site registration beginning at 5 p.m.  Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the music, even if they are not participating in the race.

Proceeds from the Summer Splash 5K will go toward the Cancer Fund at Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation in honor and memory of Sarah Alice Bagci. The Cancer Fund provides charitable assistance to local cancer patients who struggle with necessities while dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Early-bird registration for one runner is $25. Early-bird registration for a team of four is $80. Registration fees will go up on June 1, 2021.
