Dr. August Whipple West, from Tomah, Wisconsin, chose Cookeville Regional Medical Center because of the opportunity to work closely with patients in the community hospital environment and enjoys working with the nurses, physicians and staff.

Her professional interests are in critical care, emergency medicine, toxicology and internal medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. West enjoys cooking, camping, and traveling with her husband to national parks around the country.
