Cookeville Regional Medical Center’s Transfer Center is the main entry point for all transfer requests from physicians and other facilities. With one call, you will speak directly to a nurse who will coordinate the entire process for you.
The centralization of transfer requests means that we can handle your request to transfer a patient more efficiently through staff members who will have firsthand knowledge of bed capacity and will therefore be able to expedite the process for you and the patient. Calls to the Transfer Center are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The process for admitting MI (myocardial infarction/heart attack) patients to Cookeville Regional has not changed. You will still continue to notify the Cookeville Regional emergency department when transferring a heart attack patient to us. The ED physician and staff will implement the Code STEMI protocol to call in our cardiologist-on-call as well as the cardiac cath team.
Cookeville Regional Medical Center’s Imaging Center makes it easy to share your imaging studies through the Stratus Imaging Share online imaging portal. This allows patients and healthcare providers to easily and securely share radiology exams and collaborate over the internet when necessary.
The patient may provide their email address to create an account.
While the Cookeville Regional patient portal (myCRMChealth.org powered by Follow My Health) allows patients to access their written patient records, this option through Stratus Imaging Share allows them access to the actual images associated with their imaging studies.
