Low Voltage Electrician

Type: FT
Education: High School Diploma Required. Proof of Education required. Vocational and apprenticeship in the trade desirable. Prefer certification Cat 5, 6 and Fiber Optics If designated and assigned by director a valid driver’s license would be required which includes: • No more than 2 Minor Violation or at fault accident in the past 12 mos. or 3 in the past 3 years. • No major violations I the past 3 years • No suspended, expired, revoked, or other status indicating the driver is not licensed. • No inexperienced drivers having less than 3 years operating the vehicle type they are driving.
Hours: TBD
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience. Experience in another health care facility desirable. Computer experience needed. Must have good working knowledge of current city, state, federal, NFPA and TJC regulations relating applicable codes. Must read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manufacturer’s manuals, troubleshooting charts and procedures.
Description:

This position is responsible for coordinating and implementation of all cable installation requests. Responsible for hospital-wide cable system to include but not limited to the following: Data cable, telecommunication cable, paging, nurse call, TV cable, telemetry cable, fiber optics, etc. Manage and maintain the integrity of all fire and smoke walls. Develop procedures to support cable management such as routing and color coding. Mapping of new and existing cables (Network). Working with low voltage cable, conduit and circuits. Pulling and terminating wiring cable such as Cat 5E or 6. Working on DC battery systems. Trimming out security devices. Programming video surveillance equipment. Installing and wiring alarm panels. Working with coaxial cables, category rated cables and fiber optics. Testing and adjusting connections to diagnose problems. Analyzing schematics, blueprints, and drawings of low voltage electronic systems. All other duties as assigned by the Director. Other duties as assigned.

 

HVAC

Type: FT
Education: High School Diploma Required with proof. Trade school with courses in A/C, refrigeration, electrical required. If designated and assigned by director a valid driver’s license would be required which includes: • No more than 2 Minor Violation or at fault accident in the past 12 mos. or 3 in the past 3 years. • No major violations I the past 3 years • No suspended, expired, revoked, or other status indicating the driver is not licensed. • No inexperienced drivers having less than 3 years operating the vehicle type they are driving.

Experience: Experience in another health care facility desirable. Must have minimum of three years previous experience. Computer experience needed. PLC knowledge desirable. Knowledge of chillers desirable. Must have good working knowledge of current city, state, federal, NFPA and TJC regulations relating applicable codes. Must read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manufacturer’s manuals, troubleshooting charts and procedures.
Description:

This position is responsible for the upkeep of all HVAC/refrigeration and air handling systems consistent with the Medical Center’s strategies and objectives. Included: Assist the Plant Facilities Supervisor in meeting compliance with city, state, federal, NFPA and TJC regulations relating applicable codes. Installation, troubleshoot, preventive maintenance, repair and service to all HVAC/refrigeration systems. Performs boiler watch, and helps other trades as needed/requested. Responsible for completing assigned task within the PM program. Performs other duties as assigned/requested. Maintains excellent working relationships with other hospital departments. Supports and carries out the hospital policies and procedures. Supports the Department Director, Supervisor, and department staff. Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

 

Maintenance Tech

Type: FT
Education: High School Diploma Required. Industrial maintenance course preferred. If designated and assigned by director a valid driver’s license would be required which includes: • No more than 2 Minor Violation or at fault accident in the past 12 mos. or 3 in the past 3 years. • No major violations I the past 3 years • No suspended, expired, revoked, or other status indicating the driver is not licensed. • No inexperienced drivers having less than 3 years operating the vehicle type they are driving.
Hours: Varied
Experience: Three years previous experience in healthcare preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical systems preferred. Must possess good mechanical skills and good judgement abilities. Must maintain aggressiveness in completing assigned job requirements

This position is responsible for Facility upkeep including but not limited to equipment repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of hospital campus consistent with the Medical Center's strategies and objectives including: Assist supervisor/Director of Plant Facilities in meeting compliance with city, state, federal, NFPA and TJC regulations relating applicable codes. According to assignment, job responsibilities may include; boiler watch, powerhouse equipment monitoring and equipment management, plumbing repair, light bulb replacement, lighting ballast replacement, assisting with inclement weather conditions, TV calls, HVAC calls, PEVCO management, Fire alarm response, furniture repair, maintain knowledge of BAS, kitchen equipment, preventative maintenance of specified utility systems. Maintains excellent working relationship with other hospital departments. Supports and carries out the hospital policies and procedures. Supports the department director, supervisor and department staff. Other duties as assigned.
