RAC/Other Appeal Denials Coordinator

Education: H.S Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors preferred.
Hours: Varied
Experience: One to three years healthcare financial experience preferred. Knowledge of Medicare billing guidelines preferred. Skills in financial systems and reporting preferred. Knowledge of general office procedures, proficient computer skills in Windows 95 or greater. Must have sound numerical proficiency ‘ten key’.
Description:

This position is responsible to report, track, audit and coordinate for the facility all denials, appeals, audits and ADR workflow and tracking of revenue.

Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Supervisor for Medicare/RAC/PCON

Type: FT
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2 years Business School Preferred.
Hours: 8a-5p
Experience: Five to ten years Accounting/Bill Collector required. Minimum five to seven years’ experience in a healthcare finance environment. Six months to three years coordinator/supervisor experience preferred. Knowledge of general office procedures, proficient computer skills in Windows 95 or greater. Must have sound numerical proficiency ‘ten key’.
Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of each respective team to ensure that adequate training exists for each employee to do his/her job in an efficient manner and to provide assistance to that team. This position will report to a PFS manager and work with that manager to ensure smooth operations within the department. The team leader will also promote cohesiveness among teams and between teams. The team leader will also develop action plans and make recommendations to management in order to have a positive impact on departmental and facility wide operations.
