Description:

This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; assesses, treats and care for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the work of other professional and non-professional personnel. Other duties as assigned.

PCA/US/Phlebotomist

Type: FT
Education: Familiarity with medical terminology preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to read and write English. Computer data entry. Basic computer skills.
Hours: 7p-7a; 7a-7p
Experience: Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.

This position is responsible for all secretarial and receptionist duties and coordination of related activities of the nursing station, including coordination of critical communication between physicians, nursing, patients, families, and other health team members. Position requires utilization of computer, verbal and written skills. Other duties as assigned.

Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing. Current Tennessee RN license.
Hours: Varied
Experience: Experience in acute care nursing preferred.
Skills: BLS upon hire or during orientation Critical Care Skills: 1. Previous critical care experience preferred 2. Critical Care course or CCRN upon hire or within 3 years (Exception: Experienced critical care nurses will be given the BKAT standardized test upon hire and those scoring 85 or greater will not be required to attend the Critical Care Course.) 3. Basic Arrhythmia course upon hire or within 1 year (Exception: Nurses with experience in patient populations requiring arrhythmia interpretation will be given the standard CRMC Basic Arrhythmia test and those scoring 85 or greater will not be required to attend Basic Arrhythmia. 4. ACLS upon hire or within one year of hire
