CRMC Community Health Fair November 4

Cookeville, Tenn. –Cookeville Regional Medical Center will be hosting its quarterly health fair on Saturday, November 4 from 7:00 am to 10:00 am in the hospital’s Education Center.  The health fair is open to the public and provides an opportunity for community members to participate in free and affordable health screenings. Informational booths will also be on display.
 
Numerous affordable screenings available at the Health Fair include:
Cholesterol and Lipid Profile
Vitamin D Level
Bone Density
Prostate Specific Antigen
Complete Blood Count
Complete Chemistry Profile
Thyroid Profile
Hemoglobin A1C
B-12 level
Folate level (folic acid)
Blood Type
Pulmonary Function Test
Testosterone Level
Low-dose CT Lung Screening (qualifying criteria required)
 
Fasting is recommended for 12 hours before either the Complete Chemistry Profile or Lipid Profile is drawn. Blood is drawn only once even if you have all lab studies done.

The health fair will be held in the hospital’s Education Center located inside the East entrance of the hospital beside the Emergency Room. To register and to see complete pricing of all screenings, please visit the hospital’s website at www.crmchealth.org/healthfair or call the Community Wellness Department at (931) 783-2743.  Cash, check and credit cards will be accepted.
