CRMC’s Workplace Wellness Hosts Health Fair for Small Businesses

Cookeville, TN - Cookeville Regional Medical Center will be hosting a health fair for small businesses through the Workplace Wellness program on Wednesday, May 30 from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. in the hospital’s Education Center.  This health fair is an opportunity for small businesses to encourage their employees to participate in affordable, life-saving health screenings to stay abreast of their health.

This event allows small businesses to provide an affordable benefit for their employees.  Businesses may elect to cover the cost, or a portion of the costs, for their employees.  Or employees may cover their own costs while the business allows them time away from the workplace to get the screenings done that morning.

Some screenings are free while others are offered at a nominal cost (most $15 or less).   Screenings available at the Health Fair will include:

• Blood Pressure
• Cholesterol and Lipid Profile
• Vitamin D Level
• Prostate Specific Antigen
• Bone Density Screening
• Complete Blood Count
• Oxygen Saturation
• Complete Chemistry Profile
• Thyroid Profile
• Hemoglobin A1C
• Blood Type and Rh Factor
