The 2012 Pink Ribbon of Hope Gala Committee Continues Planning
Cookeville, TN – The Pink Ribbon of Hope Gala committee continues planning to make this year’s gala a night to remember. The Gala is scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 14 at DelMonaco Winery and Vineyard from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The Pink Ribbon of Hope Gala is a charitable event with proceeds benefiting the Pink Ribbon Save-A-Life Mammogram Fund through the Foundation at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. This fund is designed to provide free screening mammograms and follow up to women of the Upper Cumberland who are either uninsured or underinsured. Many women in the area are facing difficulties receiving proper breast cancer screening because of the lack of insurance. Without insurance, women often forego the necessary screening for breast cancer.
“This event truly makes a direct difference in the lives of women in the Upper Cumberland,” Michelle Zellner, committee chair for the Pink Ribbon of Hope Gala, said.
This year’s Pink Gala will be a semi-formal event, with an elegant four-course dinner, featuring wines from DelMonaco Winery, dancing and a live and silent auction.
Tickets are now on sale for the event. Prices are $80 per person, $150 per couple or $500 for a table of eight. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, and donations for the live and silent auctions are being accepted at this time.
For more information on sponsorship opportunities or donating items to live and silent auction please call Michelle Zellner 783-2687 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. To purchase tickets to the 2012 Pink Ribbon of Hope Gala please contact the Foundation at Cookeville Regional at 783-2037.
