Cookeville, TN- The 2012 A Woman’s Heart Event committee continues to plan for the fund’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The event is scheduled for Feb. 9 at the Leslie Town Centre, 1 West First St. in Cookeville, Tenn., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Every year women come together for an evening of food, fun and festivities to celebrate women’s heart health. Dale Thomas Smith has been teaching audiences for over 17 years on “Choosing Success.” She has been a featured guest on many radio and television shows around the country Dale's message has been seen and heard by millions of people. She has been a special guest expert on The Dr. Phil Show, The Big Idea on CNBC, and on CMT, Vh1 and MTV. She has also appeared on a Fox Reality Show.
“This year’s event is going to be even bigger and better. Auction items are coming in and we are so thankful for a supportive community. We will have men models in this year’s fashion show. We are honored to have Dr. Reising speaking on heart attack and stroke prevention, and very excited about our motivational speaker, Dale Thomas Smith. There are usually 300 people who attend A Woman’s Heart and tickets sell quickly. This is going to be a great year and we are excited for all our attendees,” Colleen Schabaker, chair of A Woman’s Heart Event committee, said.
