Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assisant

Description:	This position is responsible for providing independent primary care in a variety of clinical settings to a specified population of non-emergency patients. Provides consultation and advice to others as a practitioner in collaboration with the Medical Director as needed and in accordance with adopted practice guidelines. DUCATION: Graduate of an approved NP program. Holder of current certificate of fitness and DEA certificate. Current Tennessee State Licensure. 2. EXPERIENCE: 3 – 5 years as a nurse practitioner. 3. SKILLS: Those associated with mid level provider status: wound closure, basic orthopedic exam and treatment, BLS and ACLS certification (certified urine collection and BAT)
