The Transfer Center is the main entry point for all transfer requests from physicians and other facilities.  With one call you will speak directly to a nurse who will coordinate the entire process for you. 

The centralization of transfer requests means that we can handle your request to transfer a patient more efficiently through staff members who will have firsthand knowledge of bed capacity, and therefore, be able to expedite the process for you and the patient.  Calls to the Transfer Center are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

(THE PROCESS FOR ADMITTING MI PATIENTS TO OUR FACILITY HAS NOT CHANGED.  YOU WILL STILL CONTINUE TO NOTIFY THE CRMC EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT WHEN TRANSFERRING A HEART ATTACK PATIENT TO US.  THE ER PHYSICIAN AND STAFF WILL THEN IMPLEMENT THE CODE 37 PROTOCOL TO CALL IN OUR CARDIOLOGIST-ON- CALL AS WELL AS THE CARDIAC CATH TEAM.)
