Hospitalist Program

Hospitalists are experienced doctors whose sole focus of practice is inpatient medicine.  They care for patients in the hospital and are available in our facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure seamless, continuous care.  They report the patient’s status to his or her primary care doctor, and upon the patient’s discharge, they refer the patient back to his or her primary care doctor for follow up if necessary after hospitalization.  In addition to our hospitalists that serve the adult population, we also have pediatric hospitalists who specialize in hospital care for pediatric patients.  For more information about the hospitalists, click here to access the physician directory.
