Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation is a three phase rehabilitation program for patients recovering from heart problems. A nurse or exercise physiologist is available at all times to provide monitoring, education along with emotional support to help further the rehabilitation process.

Pulmonary rehabilitation is a program for people who have long-term breathing problems. This program was created to give patients and their families the information and skills they need to cope with breathing problems in the most effective ways possible. Programs are created based on each patient's own needs.

The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center at Cookeville Regional is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
